Bromothane™ R Defluxer
This is the "R"egular nPB-based cleaner and it is the Bromothane™ best-seller. It offers excellent, fast and consistent defluxing, especially on heavily ionic contamination such as lead-free fluxes. In general, Bromothane™ R offers very fast cleaning due to it's high solvency and relatively higher-temperature operations. Importantly, it (as well as it's sibling, Bromothane™ S) is the only product in its class made from domestic (USA) sources; all other vendors rely on supplies from Asia and the Middle East.
Many customers who select Bromothane™ R often are current users of other nPB-based products who seek to upgrade to the Bromothane™ standards of quality and reliability. Because Bromothane™ R is chemically identical with competing nPB-based cleaners (except for the stabilizers) customers can convert to Bromothane™ R without the costs of a major re-qualification process. Selecting Bromothane™ R simply "reduces" the amount of hassle involved in the conversion.
It's an excellent replacement for perc, TCE and other chlorinated materials and offers relatively low costs. MicroCare only offers the Bromothane™ cleaners for used in sealed cleaning systems.
