DuPont™ Vertrel® MCA Plus Degreaser
DuPont™ Vertrel® MCA Plus is a powerful, ozone-safe degreaser for metals, plastics, glass and ceramics. It is a clear, colorless liquid with almost no aroma. Originally engineered for the removal of soluble organic oils, it also delivers excellent results on Krytox-like greases and oils, plus insoluble contamination such as metal particles. Vertrel® MCA Plus has excellent miscibility with hydrocarbon oils, esters, ketones, ethers, ether-alcohols, and the lower alcohols, such as methanol, ethanol and isopropanol. The lower hydrocarbons, such as hexane and heptane, are also soluble. It is ideally suited for precision metal cleaning and other specialty applications with the most difficult soils. The primary reason customers select Vertrel® MCA Plus is due to its excellent solvency of oils and grease.
